Peer Support

Peer support is a way for people from all backgrounds who share similar experiences in life to come together to build relationships in which they share their strengths and support each other’s healing and growth. It does not focus on diagnoses or deficits, but is rooted in compassion for oneself and others.

Hope

Through Connection, Self-Discovery, Advocacy, and Knowledge, we believe there is hope for a brighter future for everyone!

Recovery

We believe recovery is possible!  Recovery is reached through practicing foundational principles of Hope, Personal Responsibility, Education, Support, Self-Advocacy and Spirituality.

“What I would like to say about Chesapeake Voyagers is that I love it. It is like family and I have made great friends. When my mother and sister died, everyone was there for me and it feels like a second home to me. They check on you to make sure you are safe and never let you go alone if you are afraid. They are always around when you need help and are always there for you. I was quiet at first but now no one can stop me from talking! I love it!!”
